What to knit?

Today I spun some of my Lincoln fleece. It is so different from the Columbia. It is pretty in it's own way. Very long fiber. I can't decide weather to send it off to be proccessed or not. I have been having fun washing and playing with the fiber, but I really won't have time as of next week. I am going back to work. My play time is over.

I am trying to decide what to knit with the Columbia yarn I spun. I have about 3 1/2 ounces. Not much for all that washing and carding and spinning and plying. I really have grown to appreciate yarn.

I have been working on some socks so I can learn a new heel. I finished the heel last night and I love it. It is a toe-up sock with a heel flap just like a top-down sock. It was a lot easier than the other one I have been trying.

Went to a baseball game this morning. My grandson (9yrs old) is playing. I sure miss those years with my son. It was a great time.

I think I will knit some socks on the knitting machine today. I have lots to do and that will speed things up. I really want to knit with my new Columbia yarn. I don't really have enough for anything much. Maybe some hand warmers.???? That would be fast and fun.
